Hey guys, i just bought Dell Inspiron and it works great, but i have a
problem in here.
When I pull of the power chord, so that the laptop turns on his
battery, my monitor isn't giving "light" anymore.

Changed over from one PC to Another,  one was running 98SE  and the newer one
is running XP SP2.
When scanning a Membership card  on the Newer PC,  it come up with the User ID
ok but also comes up with Invalid Bar Code.

I use a Sony Graphics GDM-F500R 21" monitor which I dearly love and
would marry if it were a woman... I had the original Sony driver installed
and working great, and somewhere along the lines of windows updating,
within the last year, XP has changed the driver to it's own, deleting ...

I can't find it in the power saving options, and it's indeed just
dimmed, it's not giviing light anymore.

I would like to make my Sony Vaio laptop run at USB 2.0 speed.  Right
now it's at 1.1.  The salesman told me that I could upgrade it by
going online.  That was four years ago.  I have no idea what to do

I just had a look at the clock speed of my processor by right clicking "My
Computer" and check the value in the General tab.
Not only can I find my clock speed at 1500MHz, I can also see another one
below it at 792 MHz.
