I just installed a NEC ND3540 DVD RW. The drive will read and play DVDs but
when I insert a blank DVD to burn, I get an error message that the drive is

Can anyone help please? Just tried to save some photos to CD and get the
message CD Drive recording speed is slower than high speed disc in drive.
Admittidly have not saved anything to cd for a while but am using the same
CD's that I have always used 700mb 48x compatible.

If I connect a USB device (USB hard drive, pendrive) I then find that the net
connection (broadband) ceases to work. It appears to be active and Device
Manager shows the modem as working properly, but nothing come down the line.
The USB hubs are also working properly.

my computer will not play cd's, read them or burn them. it will only play
dvd's. what is wrong? i am windows xp

Hi all...I had downloaded some games off the msn games site for free
trials...when my trial was over I wanted to remove it.  I went in to my
control panel and when I double click on Add Remove programs..it won't open.
