I've been given a Hercules 3D Prophet graphic card model 4500 with 64mb and
would appreciate some advice as to whether this might perform better than my
existing card which the driver says is a Rage 128 Pro, AGP 4 x TMDS.

Hello! I need help please. I accidently deleted my CD-Rom drive. Does anybody
know how I can re-install it, or get it back. When I go into My Computer it
says its not there. When I put in a CD then it tells me that it is a  device
with removable storage.

For some reason my P.C wouldn't recognise both my DVD RW or CD RW but  i have
since (after reading through some of these pages) rectified this via registry
editor and removing  upper and lower filters etc. So now the P.C recognises

My computer screen has an intermittent rippling effect.  Sometimes it's
very slight other times very pronounced can anyone tell me what could be

I have got this problem i.e. My CD-ROM or DVD-ROM cannot read or play any
type of disc or dvd, and this kind of problem has just started recently.
When i try to put and play any kind of cd or dvd it doesn't show anything,
it says NO DISC.

I'm having trouble with my M/S wireless photo desktop keyboard and mouse.
Everything installed fine, and worked normally.  It's installed on a new
Dell XPS 600 with XP Media Center Edition, SP2.
However, a dozen times a day, the keyboard and mouse system stops

My hard drive crashed which had a windows password.
So I installed a second hard drive, and loaded win xp on it, thinking I

Hi Ijust Bought some USB to Serial adapters.
when i plug them in they get installed as a Human Interface device, but no
Com port is assign. I need a com port to be able to plug into our cisco
equipment.

MY DVD ROM(NOT THE RW )  PLAYS CHOPPY.  I CAN'T GET THE DEVICE(1) TO SWITCH
TO DMA MODE.  IT STAYS IN PIO ONLY MODE(BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY).  I KNOW
