After I started to burn Audio cd's on this computer, I've lost the ability to
transfer over any JPG files and cannot format the cd rom drive.  Any ideas on
where to start looking for the fix?

I am on my second dvd double layer drive and second pack of disks.  Both
drives did not recognize the DVD+R DL discs.  Using Windows XP SP2, Sony
DRU700A and DRU710.  DVD RW and R discs work fine.  Why not the DL discs?

my cd writer shows Sony DVD RW DRU- 710A is working properly but no matter
what program I try to burn with, it does not show a CD in it. If I try to
play a CD in it, it does not find it. I am totally at a loss what to do next.

Whenever I try to burn a CD on my Memorex CD/DVD burner, it fails the first
time every time.  If I then execute the command again without doing anything
different, it works every time.  Any suggestions on how to make this work

I am trying to add a new device via the usb port on my computer. Usually it
automatically displays a window informing me that a new device has been
found. But when I put this device in via the usb port nothing happens. Any
