Hi,
I'll be shopping for a new internet hard drive soon.  I see lots of
posts here about SATA, RAID, IDE, etc drives.  I'm just a desktop user
and there's no network.  What kind of drive do I need to buy?  

have problem with dvd/cdrw drive,,,toshiba sd-
r2002,,,works fine for read /write,but when i put a dvd
in it just makes clicking noises ,,,and wont load or see
the cd ,any thoughts r apreciated,,thnx

When I plug in Kodak CX730 Digital Camera USB into my computer, there is no
'New Hardware Found' message appear and I cannot access camera's memory.

First of All let me say I am capable of doing a Cpu Mod I just need to
be pointed in the right direction.  I have learned and taught myself a
lot through trail and error but I would rather not go this route.  
So heres what I want:

Every time I insert my USB drive a "My Computer" window pops up
displaying the contents of the drive. How do I make it stop? I have
already turned off auto insert notification, and I tried right-clicking
the drive and selecting "Take no action" for everything.

The safely remove hardware icon is listed as a "past item" and will no longer
appear in the notification area even if I set its behavior to "always show."  
How can I make it a "current item" or otherwise make it available for use
from the notification area?

My PS2 keyboard stopped working for my Windows XP system, in that typing a
key had no effect unless I held the key down for a long time. At first I
thought my keyboard was bad, so I tried a new one. It didn't work either,
and I could not toggle on the Cap Lock light, the Scroll ...

I have windows xp home edition.  I have 2 hard drives in my computer.  I was
defragging the secondary one.  After it reached 98%, a message popped up
saying that the files could not be written.  I didn't know what to do so I

Well, I installed some newer drivers for my graphics card.  It is VIA/S3G
KM400 Unichrome IGP.  After I did that it seems to have almost "vanished"
from my computer.  When I run DxDiag and go to the display tab it shows that
there is nothing installed.  Please help.
