Would anyone know how to use a SATA hard drive on a Ultra100 PATA system? I'm considering a complete system upgrade in 4-6 months that will be SATA I/II, however I have one (1) hard drive that I need to replace soon. No OS on this drive, I store my personal files on this drive.

Asus has a bios update for the 3.0ghz cpu. I plan to upgrade from a 1.8ghz to a 3.0ghz. Should I update the bios before putting in the new chip or after? I would think updating the bios immediately before the chip is replaced

I just bought a new Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 and was wondering if there is a way to increase the movement of the cursor in relation to when you move the mouse. So that a smaller movement of the mouse will move the cursor more.

When I install additional memory initial boot up recognises it, but get error message when booting up windows. "Unable to start window due to lost or corrupted ntoskrnl.exe file. If I remove new memory boots up OK. This is the second set of memory I have

I know I can have 2 hard drives on the same cable, but can one of them be ATA150 when the other one is ATA100? Also, will the ATA150 suffer performance if it is on the same cable as an ATA100? Thank you!

When I start in "safe mode" it runs ok! In safe mode I have tried to adjust the resolution to the lowest, but when rebooted in normal boot the screeen says "Out of range" again.. (The monitor isn't listed in hardware list along with other hardware)
