When I plug in my printer, this message appears "Port is unknown". I tried getting it to work in Add Printer by specifying a port, but the list is blank! Even the "Create port" is unavailable... WHAT DO I DO!? I need this printer to work - and don't tell me to use another computer ...

Can anyone please help me. Just recently I am trying to replace working ram 512mb pc3200 with 256mb pc2700. With 512 os boots with no problems, but as soon as i plug in 256mb ram the os wont start. It says : corrupted or missing file :system. - or something simillar

I pulled out my usb wireless card without "stopping" it - it slipped my mind. Pc crashed. I rebooted and it hung on the windows black startup screen. I rebooted, it hung the same time. I heard a clunk or something from the HDD as it did this.

running xp pro, sp2. have a usb 2 iomega external hd that contains a western digital 200gb drive.. the drive only shows up as 127gb. I first thought it was a bios int13 extension problem but cant be because i also have an internal 500gb

I am trying to do a new installation on a new harddrive. Unfortunately the computer usually shuts off before the install gets going. When the windows cd has been able to begin formatting, it only got to 20% and stalled. The next day I finally shut it off.
