I was recently hit with the RTKT_XCP.A virus.  From what I can find out, the
virus attacks the $sys$filesystem and hides files, folders, and registry keys
with $sys$ starting names.  As a result of the virus, I can no longer access
either the DVD or the CD drives on my sony VAIO ...

Seems that my cd rom driver is corrupted.
I need a driver for a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2212 on a Hp Pavilion xt375
laptop.
There are no valid drivers on my C: drive and since the cd rom does not work

I am having problems with my burner reading DVD media. it will read all
other media except DVD. I have tried the codec and re installed
different devices to play dvd but it willnot read. Windows will not
even see it in explore.

Where do I find instructions on replacing the CDROM in a Pavilion xt375?
