Weird CD Drive Problem20 Dec 2005 18:32 GMT2
I've had the strangest problem recently.  I re-installed XP Home, all
went smoothly.  I added each new app that I needed one at a time,
testing them to make sure they worked.  Again, all went smoothly.  Most

I want to get a low capacity thumb drive to put on a keychain. This will be

Hi, I have a PS/2 keyboard for my everyday typing, but I wanted to also
install a USB keyboard on the same machine, the key presses of which should
be redirected to a particular program or two (i.e. media applications) even
when they are not the foreground application being used.

I just retired my P4 2.53ghz and built a Dual Core HT Intel 840EE 3.2ghz rig.
I don't see much performance increase and maybe some slow down in certain
cases.
I am using the Intel 82801 SATA RAID controller with 3 WD Raptor 10,000 RPM
LOST Administrator Rights20 Dec 2005 10:46 GMT1
A good friend told me that he installed a new DVD/RW internal on a
system that already had a CD/RW - he just added the new DVD as a cable
select drive to the existing cable to the CD/RW.
After he booted up, he said he lost Admin rights and tried Safe Mode,
