The only way I can use my cursor is with a mouse. I'm not sure if i locked
the pad somehow or something else. I've had this laptop for about 2 weeks now
and it was working fine until today. Any suggestions would be great.

I have removed a floppy drive from one computer and installed it onto
another. If I have connected it up correctly how do I get drive (a) to
appear as one of the drive letters in My Computer.  I don't recall having
software for the floppy drive installation.

My IBM ThinkCentre with XP Pro has been partitioned into 4 partitions with a
Linux RedHat, OS2 and a FAT 32 data exchange partition. I replaced the MBR
so it would boot just into XP only and now I would like to combine at least
some of the space back into the XP partition.

I recently installed a FX5500 256mg Graphics card and have had random  freezes
eversince, I thought it might be the power supply and I installed a Ultra
ULT31558 500w supply, I still get random freezes.....any other ideas or is

Due to a severe virus attack, I formatted my drive and re-installed

I've installed 120 GB ATA Seagate hard disc.
When the drive is plugged in the computer, it is functioning well, but my LG
cd-rw drive can't read or execute large (about 100KB and more) files even if
in safe mode with network support.

All of the sudden, my computer does not recognize my CD drive. It worked fine
in the past. When I clilck on "my computer" the drive is not listed. When i

I've got 4GB (4x1GB), but in the 'my computer' properties dialogue it only

I have a co-worker that we just installed Windows XP Pro with service
