I would like to know if I put together a new computer with a SATA drive,
would I be able to install a second IDE HD (cos I have one already)
Would both HD's be able to boot the system as I normally have a dual boot
system also

i'm tryng to find what speed memory i have, i've tryed searching the pc but
cant find anything and i've searched the net but theres nowhere on the net
that tells you how to check what speed memory you have and tiny computers are

I bought a Hitachi internal hard drive.  Installed it in a USB 2.0 housing.  
Plugged it into my laptop running XP.
XP recognized the external drive as a removable media storage device and
said all drivers were installed.

I am not able to change weekends in outlook 2003 with sp2. I trieds from
tools-options-perf-calendar - holidays and uncheck the thu and fri but still
calendar in outlook 2003 is showing sat/sun Any help on this issue.

Hello,
recently I accidentally deleted my ati card information from the
change/remove programs screen. I downloaded the driver update for radeon
mobility 9000 and it did not work. I soon realized that the original card was

A similar question to others.I've successfully installed and partitioned my
new et.hard drive, but now I'm not sure how I should use it.I thought I could
simply cut or copy/paste my C drive onto it,thus leaving the original C drive
at it's maximum capacity.Is this not the case?

I have Windows XP on an EMachines 3830.  My CD-ROM drive has quit working.  
I've followed all the trouble-shooting advice with no luck.  The device
manager says that it's fine and working correctly, but the computer doesn't

Well, I hate having 2 drives on my laptop, The C drive is always too small.  
So I decided to delete the partition, thinking this would make it one drive.  
Now the exD drive shows up as unallocated space.  How do I join it to the C

i have a problem... it seems that my cd/dvd rw plays can burn and read, but
if i try to play dvds/cds straight from the drive, regardless of the program,
the cd/dvd plays slowly with regular skips in sound and video, when i first
setup my pc it was working fine but now i cant ...

I have an XM Radio device plugged into my sound card. When I reformat, XP
goes somewhere on the internet to get what is called the USB-Serial
Converter driver. How can I get a copy of this as a backup for future
reformats?
Delayed boot from cold since power supply failure02 Dec 2005 22:38 GMT2
The new power supply has been installed but the boot from cold hangs for
about 2 minutes at the Intel motherboard splash, then everything boots
normally.  I've whittled it down to my bluetooth dongle.  If I remove it
before booting everything is fine.  Afterwards the dongle works ...

I just installed a new hard drive in my PC.  I want to use the new hard
drive as the boot disk and the old hard drive as the secondary disk.  I
installed Windows on the new disk then when I reboot I can boot of the
new disk just fine.  But if I unplug the old disk I get a message
