ive currently building a new system anyway the new tower has cpu temperature censer on it now there is a very fine wire from it does this go between the cpu and the fan any ideas thanks dave.

I am trying to install the Nvidia Geforce Ti 4400 graphics card. I am currently using the motherboard onboard graphics. Am having a problem getting this to work. Let me explain my actions: Put card onto mother board and changed the display lead to the card.

My computer 'crashed', I was told to reseat CMOS battery (which I did), but now when trying to reboot......goes to screen where need to press F1 or DEL, but keyboard will not work. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Every time I turn on my computer I have to open my 2nd cd-rom If I don't its light will blink and it will not work, and my hd light stay lite. I'm running to hard drives, one dvd-rom and a cd-rom.

O.k I have two hard drives on my computer using the Ide cables I just got a 160 gig SATA harddrie as a gift, My mobo supports it Its a Asus KV8 Deluxe SE, Can I use this hard drive on the SATA cable as another hard drive? I'm running XP home every things updated

usb ports where working fine on windows 98.I changed to windows xp now the ports will not work.my computer will only work if the usb is disabled in the bios.
