hard drive is now the slave.  I can access both drives ok.  the problem is
windows xp is on both drives the original and new bigger hard drive. should

ive currently building a new system anyway the new tower has cpu temperature
censer on it now there is a very fine wire from it does this go between the

I am trying to install the Nvidia Geforce Ti 4400 graphics card.  I am
currently using the motherboard onboard graphics.  Am having a problem
getting this to work. Let me explain my actions:

My computer 'crashed', I was told to reseat CMOS battery (which I did),

I have an external hard drive.  I mistakenly turned off the  unit before
windows was completely shutdown.  When I restarted I got a windows installed
box, then a norton box saying norton does not support the repair of this
item.  Upon restart windows assigned a new drive letter ...

Every time I turn on my computer I have to open my 2nd cd-rom
If I don't its light will blink and it will not work, and my hd light stay
lite.

I just got a 160 gig SATA harddrie as a gift, My mobo supports it
Its a Asus KV8 Deluxe SE, Can I use this hard drive on the SATA cable

usb ports where working fine on windows 98.I changed to windows xp now
the ports will not work.my computer will only work if the usb is
disabled in the bios.

I switched my DVD writer, a Toshiba SD-R5112, from one computer to
another. The burner worked fine with my last computer, which was less

I really need help on this. I got a computer from a friend but have no
