Hi I have an odd prob with my Mitsumi 48x5TE CD-R/RW. XP Pro SP2 freezes if I
put any cd into the Mitsumi drive. It works fine under Win98se and Knoppix.
It is a SCSI drive but so is the XP partition.
Any ideas on how to fix this ?

I have lost all sound in my machine.  One year ago, I tried to us MS Movie
Maker.  Since then, all of my control regarding audio in the control panel
are greyed out, and I'm informed that I have "drivers installed but not

This is quite possibly the most aggressive warning message I've ever
seen from Dell.  I should probably uninstall the Dell OM software, but
before I do I'll cross-post and make some calls.
