Just fitted a new card to increase the number of ports on my PC but it has disabled the four ports I already have. I've tried the other spare PCI slots but all have the same result. I'm running XP version 1. Any ideas?

I have 2 dvd rom in pc. One is a burner setup as master Hardware profile shows both drives but drives not available to access Driver prompt gives error 39. When attempt to update driver, windows replies present driver is best.
