I just installed a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, but they seem to
be working erratically, forcing me to reboot the system every time, no such
problem with the wired keyboard, I deleted the legacy keyboard programs
before loading this one ?

I just received a microphone for my computer and I want to use it to
record my baby girl, how do I go about doing this? Thanks in advanced

I booted up (XP pro) the other day to find that my normal resolution (1280 x
1024) was down to 1024 X 768. When I checked the Display Properties, that had
become the maximum available resolution.
I have an SiS onboard graphics chip, and a BenQ FP731 17" LCD monitor.

After installing a second (slave) hard disk, it showed up as expected a hard
disk (G:) in "My Computer." I then used PC Doctor from a diskette to do a
Quick Erase of the disk contents. This worked as expected, but now the drive

i have a Sony Vaio Pentium 4 want to remove the dvd rom and put in a dvd
burner. . .had the casing off, and pulled the ribbon cable but there was
another set of wires in a "plug" just to the right of the ribbon cable that
i could not pull out. . .i know there has to be "trick" to it ...

We are looking to see if anyone is running to a problem with a
0x0000009f (BSoD) on Shutdown.  This error started in the last two
weeks on all effected computers.
We have three computers that are all having the same error.

Is there an utility/program that I can run on my XP Home PC which will
save all my drivers in a folder e.g. My Documents/Drivers.
I have just updated all my hardware drivers and so would like to have
them all in one place should I need them again. That way I can choose

I would like to add a parallel port (lpt3) to the list of options in my "send
to" pulldown when I right click on a file.  I used to have this set up in Win

I recently built a new pc running win xp pro with an ASUS A8N SLI prem
Motherboard and two SATA hard drives.  I connected the old hard drive,
which I know works, to the IDE conn on the MB and have it set to auto

i have had problems since day one with my winxp sp2 computer taking

I HAVE A PROBLEM! I cannot use my ATI All-In-Wonder Pro Pci tuner function. Whenever I try to use it, the program trying to use the tuner function hangs and I have to restart. I have tried going to BOTH ATI and Microsoft websites but the microsoft supplied version does not ...
