I was printing a document from my canon ip5200 - which has been working
fine since I got it over a month ago - and tried to do a second print out
upon which I received the message 'One of the USB devices attached to this
computer has malfunctioned,and windows does not recognise ...

Hi ,   Basically I have a problem connecting DV camcorders to Windows XP for
DV capture.
I have a Canon MV650i  & a  MVX25i and although Windows XP recognises the
devices,  they show up in Device manager with the yellow exclamation.

My printer works fine when printing from XP Home, and W98 (on various PC's
around the house, but has a problem when on the PC running XP Prof 2002 with
SP2 loaded (and up to date!) - problem as follows. When printer is powered
up, the first print works fine, any subsequent prints ...

How do i reinstall the feature for my "personal web-site password memory"  so
I dont have to always keep type my password to all of my commonly visited
web-sites

Somewhat unexpectantly, my new XP came w/o a floppy drive. I installed one
from my previous system, connected both power and  signal cables, but it is
not showing up in "My Computer."  What causes this ??
BTW, the slave hard drive that I also installed appeared exactly as expected ...

I have an old eTower 400ix that im trying to install XP pro on. I know its
not tested and built for XP, but i've had 2003 server on it, and it worked
fine, so i know it can hold the OS. I have an 80 Gig Seagate in it, and the
eTower supposedly has a 20 gigabyte limitation, so ...

My drive will let me put in a cd and play it, show photo's etc.
However, if I try to copy anything on to the cd drive my comp does not see
it. ie media player does not see I have a cd or rw drive at all, it says
there are no devices.

but my plug and play external drive cannot be found
i have tryed it firewire and usb the ports are working as i have trie

virus knocked out my cd drive so I replaced the cd/dvd drive and can do
everything except copying files to the drive.Can anybody help me? I think the
computer does not recognizes the drive for copying purposes.

The network card that is part of my ASUS P4C800E Deluxe motherboard
(Intel CSA Gigabit Pro/1000 CT) was uninstalled/disabled after/during
SP2 installation.  I attempted to reinstall it through the ASUS cd-rom,
but it won't show up under network connections.  I have no way to
