I want to set up my computer with 2 partitions. Both are on the 1 hard drive.
For clarity lest call them Partition A and B
Both will have windows XP installed
B will be able to see both partitions but I want A to only be able to see

a computer vendor told me that partitioning C Drive (in my case to keep data
separate from OS) would significantly slow down the speed of the computer.I

Just installed a new maxtor 6L160P0 HDD (PATA, 160gig) as slave on 1st
IDE with my master windows drive. BIOS detects, no problems. Windows
refuses to recognize the drive; disk management doesn't see it, paragon
partition manager doesn't see it. I've used the MaxBlast program
