OK,  my nav2004  was set to expire today so I bought NAV2006.. Installed

My HDD failed and I had to do a reinstall of win XP pro. I have all service
packs and updates installed. My problem is on the secondary IDE I have a
DVD-RW (master) and a CD-RW(slave). The CD-RW does not appear in My Computer,

i recently bought a new motherboard and when my computer turns on it used to
say:
invalid boot.ini
booting from C:\

The issue win xp does not detect the drive, how do I manually install the zip
drive?

I have had this periodic problem.
System,  Win XP Pro.  MSI MB, 512 Ram (tested), 3 ghz P4. ATI AIW

Ran the WD diagnostic on the drive,

My wireless Signal Strenght Icon is gone.  Can anybody help me on how to get
it back?  It may just be a box that I have to check but I don't know where

I am trying to install a 60 GB IBM Deskstar harddrive.  It is HD number 3 in
the system, and installed as a slave via a controller card.  I have
reformatted the partition but Windows only recognises it as 32 GB.  Can

Apparently my system does not even see any firewire devices???  I am trying
to connect an external video capture device.
I am running SP2 on a new machine.  It cam with an onboard firewire.  My

I installed a new CD/DVD combo drive, but unfortunately we can't get
DVDs (movies or data) to read!
It DOES read CDs -- I installed all the Nero and PowerDVD software that
came with the new drive, then followed all the instructions to make

I use PaintshopProX for graphics, photos, drawing etc.

I have a notebook with a 80GB hard disk, CDROM drive, 4in1 card reader.
The problem is that on a clean install the 4in1 card reader is assigned
drive C:
CDROM assigned drive D:

many time when i on my computer it will not get into windows, instead it will
come to a blue screen saying " unamountable_boot_volume" . i tried all sort
of mode including safe mode but cant get into the window at all. in the end i
had to reformate my computer. any 1 can help me ...

I just formatted the wrong Hard drive..(quick formate) is there any way of
getting the data back again..
