I recently installed XP and can no longer read any CD Rs that I didn't close
out so that they could be read by other CD drives.  Is there any way to
access this information?

OPS is XPHome Edition.
2 users on PC. On one side, both CD Drive's (D & E ) are recognized. But
when other user signs in: Only CD Drive E can be found.

I recently bought a 512 MB PNY Flash Drive (USB 2.0), brought it home,
and it worked great for about a week.  Then all of sudden yesterday, it

A friend updated his operating system from Windows 2000 to Windows XP
Home.  After the new OS was installed, with related chipset drivers,

My motherboard (Via KT400 chipset) has 6 built-in USB 2.0 ports, provided by
the Via 8235 southbridge chip.  They've been OK, but Via USB isn't the best,

A strange thing is happening with my RAM. I tried to upgrade my
computer's RAM by adding another 512 MB SDRAM 133 modul. The system
didn't recognized it, I guess because of incompatibility between two
modules. They are the same type (512 MB SDRAM 133), but not from the

Let's say I want to run lots of monitors off a single laptop .... at least
2, hopefully 4, up to 8.   So a giant virtual screen I can move apps around
