I want  my computer faster than current speed.
Then, I am thinking of 'upgrade' my memory from 512 MB to

I have a Western Digital 80GB 7200 EIDE HD.  It doesn't show up in Disk
Manager.  The BIOS recognizings and loads it, but XP will not recognize the
drive.  I've changed IDE cables, unslaved it, and put it in the secondary IDE
slot, but nothing.  Which can you suggest I do next?  ...

To test other hardware with which I was having a problem, I used Device
Manager to unistall a Targus USB optical mouse.
I expected that when I plugged in the mouse again and started Windows XP

Does Win XP Home support fibre channel hard drives? I'm looking at getting
one, and  I know I'll need a controller card and an adapter and such, but I
don't want to waste 180 bucks on something my OS doesn't support. This is the
