I want my computer faster than current speed. Then, I am thinking of 'upgrade' my memory from 512 MB to somewhere around 750 MG. Is it safe to put/add another '256 MB' on '512MB?

I have a Western Digital 80GB 7200 EIDE HD. It doesn't show up in Disk Manager. The BIOS recognizings and loads it, but XP will not recognize the drive. I've changed IDE cables, unslaved it, and put it in the secondary IDE slot, but nothing. Which can you suggest I do next? ...

I have a dmg image to burn on my PC and cannot find any info on software that will easily convert to iso. I use Nero 6 Ultra Edition v 6.3.1.15. It will not convert or burn the image for use on my PC.

To test other hardware with which I was having a problem, I used Device Manager to unistall a Targus USB optical mouse. I expected that when I plugged in the mouse again and started Windows XP Home that it would be found as new hardware but this did not happen.
