okay i went and buy another hard drive for my computer it is an external usb
hard drive it said plug and play so went i plug it in the wizard came up and
said it couldn't find the hardware please help me please

i just upgraded my computer with a new motherboard Asus A8N- SLI
the sound card is built in a Realtek AC97 7-1.My speakers are 4-1 from
creative.all 4  work fine if i move them to differnt contacts. My problem is
that im only getting sound from the rear speakers and the front left ...

Hi yall,
For what it's worth,  in my PRIMITIVE Phoenix bios (no upgrade
available) when I set the hdds to "user" and selected Transfer mode =
FPIO4/DMA2 and DMA MODE = 4 Windows XP set my drives to UDMA 33.

it's been a while since I had any problems with my system, but last night my screen flickered and then went black. I couldn't turn it off using windows .> down arrow> enter >enter. I replaced the monitor and the original works, however this morning it seemed to splutter again.

see that features a continuous feed seems to be in the $1K+ range...

I just bought a new hard disk and format and Installed that, it is a 200 GB
IDE,  but when I go to properties or disk management, it just show 130 GB!

My Dell Inspiron 8100 has an annoying habit. Whenever I turn the laptop off
and carry it back from my office to the house (100 yards, very carefully)
