Hi yall, For what it's worth, in my PRIMITIVE Phoenix bios (no upgrade available) when I set the hdds to "user" and selected Transfer mode = FPIO4/DMA2 and DMA MODE = 4 Windows XP set my drives to UDMA 33.

it's been a while since I had any problems with my system, but last night my screen flickered and then went black. I couldn't turn it off using windows .> down arrow> enter >enter. I replaced the monitor and the original works, however this morning it seemed to splutter again.

I just bought a new hard disk and format and Installed that, it is a 200 GB IDE, but when I go to properties or disk management, it just show 130 GB! Thanks for any comments, Faram.
