Running Windows XP Media Center Edition SP2 on a computer with two video cards. I was experimenting with the display settings when I made the secondary (PCI) video card the default display and set its refresh rate too high (so that it would not display on the monitor at all).

I'm receiving a mbr error message on boot up. Since I'm running ntfs, I can't run the dos mbr format command. How do I fix this? Roger

I just got my 16mb Nvidea Vanta video card, I put it in my system (low profile, AGP) and my system will boot, but when it goes to load windows it stops. This card is only capable of 1X agp, my board supports up to 8x could this have somthing to do with why it wont work?

I'm looking at getting an external storage solution and am thinking that the 300GB units I've seen are pretty good value. I've narrowed the choice down to two, one which has a SATA drive and the other a standard drive.

i have windows XP. the cd dvd drive icon has disapeared from my computer. I checked the device it said that the driver is missing or corrupted (code 39) i tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but that didnt work. its a Sony CDRW/DVD CRX33OE

Please someone help! My computer keeps shutting itself off, i don't mean shut down its like the power cuts out. Some time in won't do it for days and then it will do it 2-3 times in one day.

The MS support site suggests running bthprops.cpl to detect my Bluetooth dongle. The problem is that running bthprops.cpl results in nothing happening and no Bluetooth control panel appears before or after running my Belkin installation software. Using XP Pro sp2. Any tips? FYI, ...

Hi there I have XP Pro SP2 on a 20 Gb HDD and I used Acronis True Image to clone the drive to an 80 Gb drive. True Image creates the partitions proportionally on the destination drive from the source drive.
