I have about a half-dozen USB external enclosures, acquired over the past year or so. These enclosures have no useful documentation. Is there any way to determine the maximum hard drive capacity an enclosure supports? Some utility that can read it's firmware, perhaps?

I've been having a problem with my system loosing power and when I press the Power button, it fails to start as if there is no power to the power supply... does this should like a hardware problem with the switch failing (bad contacts) or is that new virus I've been hearing ...

I have a sound recorder that I use to record internet radio programs. It uses the Wave control to record sound. I recently upgraded my mainboard on WIn XP Pro machine. Upgraded to Intel D101GGC main board with integrated Intel High Definition Audio.

Ok, the thing is this... I have a Dell Precision 670, SCSI drive and a IDE DVD-burner on the primary IDE-bus. I put in a 120 GB IDE-drive on the secondary IDE-bus. At that moment I didn't have an 80-pin IDE-cable so I used a 40-pin instead. So far so good.

Suddenly my Epson scanner & Canon camera no longer work on my system. I tried installing new USB drivers for both, but XP Home won't detect either device and they don't show up in Device Manager. A USB Corsair Flash Drive IS detected & works fine, however.

The only way to delete an account is to go to the web page for which it was registered, click on the hand button in the title bar and then click Delete. But what to do if the web page changes or is no longer existing? Seems that you are stuck with that account forever. Anyone ...
