lite-on shw16h5s,fitted new,device manager says it is working properly,will
not load powerdvd5,spins a bit then stops,noticedthis in regions,current

I just built a new computer with xpsp2.
One of my drives is marked as a DVD drive.
I am not interested in DVD movies or movie making
or music ripping. All I want to do ir to install games that came on DVD

This dvd recorder has a 194 connection, which I assume is an In for some
video camera. Is there anyway to use this firewire connection to connect the
dvd recorder to my laptop, which also has a 1394 ...

i have a problem searching for my sound driver. i formatted my disk and
installed a new windows into my system. but i could not get my sound
