flat screen monitor burn in19 Apr 2006 06:42 GMT5
I posted a question about this awhile back, and the answers I got
implied that flat screen LCD monitors did not suffer from image burn
in. However, after taking that advice and not using a screen saver on a

Broken EMachine19 Apr 2006 05:42 GMT8
Hey everyone,
I have a friend that went against my advice and bought an EMachine last
year, and now,  to our "surprise", it's broke!   *gasp*  Anyway, I've
narrowed the problem down to his motherboard.

have disabled NetDetect - no change. I understand that DRMC should be left

When opening a folder in Documents, and want to copy it to floppy, I scroll
down to "send to".  It won't open the choices, including floppy.  I get an
hourglass, and have to close the window.  The computer reboots, not a
complete reboot, but short.

I just bought 2 Vantec NST-360SU-BK esata hd enclosures.  The enclosure
