I've got a new PC, Once in a while (about every 5-15 minutes) my system freeze for a 4-5 seconds period... When I inspect the System Event Log, I got the following entries everytime

Its happening from 5 days..The system reboots on its own the OS is winXP home with SP-2. The big reason is I have done what not everything from checking the event log and checking the hardware BIOS and unchecking the automatic restart...Ran AntiVirus and AntiSpyware

Have Toshiba DVD-RomSD-R2512 driver installed on my pc. I can use CD-R to record but not rewritable. Says Rewritable on door. I have uninstalled Roxio software in case that is the problem and tried again with same results. Also checked in properties forupdates and found none. ...

When attempting to use system restore, I receive the message that System Restore was unable to restore to an earlier restore point. This will happen on any restore points I try whether a system checkpoint, or on a checkpoint generated by installation of new software/updates.

I have a Brother MFC 9500 printer and it has suddenly decided to print code and not what is sent for print? I've deleted the printer Driver and reset it via Windows XP but no luck??? Anything else I could try????

My HP Deskjet 1220c no longer prints yellow. I have a hard time believing I ran out of yellow - I use the other two color much more. I told the printer to clean but did not prime. Also, although I've had the printer for a while I've used it seldom.

When I connect any device (digital camera, USB Memory stick) to the USB port , i cannot get the device to function. It will create the 'Remove the USB Device Safely' popup however. In device manager all the USB related items are running properly.

Similar to hogislander's post on 2/8/06, but with some differences. I am running XP with NTFS on the master drive. I just added a second drive (I want the data from it), which is FAT32. Microsoft claims that XP should work with FAT32, but the drive doesn't show up in Explorer.
