This seems to be the only group to ask this question in. Do laptops and desktops use the same, physical size, RAM? If a desktop and laptop both require SDRAM, PC-133, non-parity, 133 mHz, 3.3v, 8ns........Will the module fit in both machines?

My old 40 GB IEEE hard drive is failing. I installed a new 200 GB SATA drive into my computer and labeled it D:\ and used quick format to set the drive up as NTFS. I’m using a ASUS P4P-800E mother board with Windows XP Professional (SP2)

I just mounted a spared HDD and found it's under "GPT partition" for unknown reasons. Is there a way that I can repartition and/or format the drive because all options for doing so from within Windows are grayed out.
