I'm a bit confused about the Xbox 360 controllers running on Windows XP.
 It's my understanding that a regular wired 360 controller will work
with Windows XP.  If so, how come stores such as Best Buy sell a version
of the controller for Windows that's actually more expensive ...

Is there software that allows viewing a damaged disk through an USB IDE
Adapter?
I plugged a damaged laptop disk at one end of the adapter and the other
end into a good laptop through the USB port. But the disk is not

I am running Windows XP, Professional Edition. I have a floppy disk drive.
However, even though I place a floppy disk into this drive, when I look in
"My Computer", there is no "A" drive listed.
I have gone into the Device Manager, where I see "Standard Floppy Disk

i have just purchased a new external hard drive as my old one was too
small. i want to know if i can use it as the main drive. is this at all
possible, the PC i currently have is a HP Pavilion t620a. Can i use the
external one just like an internal hard drive???

I have an external fan powered by my USB.  When I place the computer on
standby, I would like for the power to the USB to shut off until the computer
is removed from standby.  Currently, the fan remains running unless I turn it

Everytime I boot the PC now, there's the detect new Bluetooth device thing
