I would like to know if i can uninstall windows XP from my laptop without
having the instalation disk but having all the passwords for the laptop. Then
i would like to wipe my hardrive clean and then install windows again.
Is that possible?

So, I've just reinstalled windows, and I am attempting to install world
of warcraft, everything is fine untill I hit disk 4, I put the disk in,
then about 5-10 min later it asks me to put in the same disk, and my
disk drive is not showing up in My computer and I cannot get to it at

I have an AMD Athlon 64 dual core 4200 running in an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
motherboard using XP Pro SP2. The BIOS recognises it as such but:-
- Windows task manager shows only 1 core
- AMD Power manager shows only 1 core and tells me that support is not

When I touch the computer case, I get a small shock even though the computer
is turned off but still plugged-in. When I look inside, I see a small light
that is lit.

alright, i am assuming the problem i have is with the video card but im

When I print a file, sometimes the top line of text, on a page other than
page 1, is either missing or "the bottom part" of the line is  printed. I
tryed changing the
top and bottom margins but that did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

I have never looked into notebooks/laptops, but I have today looked at quite
