I upgraded from XP home to XP Pro. My display resolution is 800 x 600 By going thru the advanced settings tabs I determine that the monitor is "default monitor" and there is no way to change it.

I have a cheap wireless mouse, that works ok on usb or ps2 connectors. when i plug a external drive into a usb port, after a while the mouse freezes, i can get it back by unplugging the mouse (if its in usb) & plugging it back, this makes it work again for a little while before
