Is running the disk checker in the GUI mode (right_click the drive->Properties->Tools->Error-checking) the same as running CHKDSK in a DOS box? I ran the GUI mode (including Scan_for_and_attempt_recovery_of_bad_sectors)

Bottom line, I have tried to install three different USB devices and none of them will install. I have four other USB devices (mouse, 2X external HD and a Smart Card reader) working fine. I also have a USB to serial cable installed. WinXP is up to date (even installed the !@#$

While i was playing counterstrike suddenly i had no sound anymore. I haven´t changed anything on my computer recently and i have an uptodate anti virus programm. The only way to get sound again is to restart the computer. This is really getting on my nerves.......

I have had the P100 for a few months running XP Pro SP2, and noticed that very second or third word would miss registering the key presses and the touch pad would move smoothly for a few seconds then jerk to a different point on the path the cursor was moving on..
