I was recently attempting to reformat my computer. Before doing so I moved all of my data onto a removable USB hard drive. When in the XP Setup I accidently deleted the partition of the removable hard drive instead of my primary hard drive that I wanted.

I wonder whether 0,18 micron technology doesn't cause any issues with earlier P4 CPU's (Williamette)? Because it operates much above 1 GHz and from what I heard there was an issue with PIII Coppermine which is also made using same 0,18 technology.

I am trying to find out if it is possable to password protect one of the hard drives in my system. I am running Windows XP Professional w/service pack 2, I have a large hard drive for storage in my system and I would like to keep other users of my computer out of it.

Monday morn. I need to add a 98 drive to an XP home computer. I cannot just copy files. It must be connected and accessible. I connected the drive as a slave: set both drives' jumpers, connected the 09 drive to the 2nd cable connector. The computer boots the 2nd drive.
