i can can not remove nero from my pc. the message comes on reads"fatal error
re-install nero". But installation also doen't work

I have 2 hard disks on my system. To improve response time and clean the
system, I decided to clean it and start anew.
So, I have formatted and reinstalled XP on my first hard disk (c:).
But now, I cannot access the data on my second hard disk (d:).

Factory-fresh Acer desktop and notebook PCs have the hard drive
partitoned into 2 x equal-sized FAT32 partitions: C: contains a
standard Windows XP setup and D: is empty. Sonys are similarly
partitioned, although NTFS formatted.

I have a dell dimension xps gen2 pc, and had orginally a 100 GB sata hard
drive installed on sata0 with XP Pro. All I wanted to do was install a second
sata drive on sata1 as a slave drive and use it for backup. When I go into
my bios, which I just updated, it show sata secondary ...

It is comforting to know that microsoft is doing a good job with its security
updates.
NOW if i could just find out why when i try to burn a dvd the computer tells
me theres a problem and then opens media player i would be happier.

Well i have some short videos and stuff that will be able to fit onto
CD-R disc. I know that if i burn the video to a dvd then i will be abl
to play it. But what if i want to save a dvd and burn it to a cd-r?
Can CD-R's support video? I mean my dvd player will support both dvd

I recently did a clean install of Windows XP Home SP2 with 2 hard drives.
The new installation is on the previous slave drive and the new slave drive
is the old primary drive.   Both drives are jumpered as "cable select",
however the new slave does not show up in "My Computer", ...

When I boot my computer, the CD-RW drive door opens.  When a CD is inserted
and the door closed, the activity light flashes for about 5 seconds then the
drawer reopens.  If I select the drive from "My Computer" is says insert
disk.  When that's done, the drawer reopens after 5 ...

Can't stay connected to the internet, connects for a few minutes then disconnects. Then can't find network.

Hi, I have one of those cases for a hard drive or cd/dvd for an external
connection, made by ADS Tech. It attaches thru a USB port. Now it worked
while back, i.e there is no drivers needed for an XP machine and the
system recognized it ok and it would show up under My Comp.
