Thanks Jim Macklin for your help. Another question is do I plug the power
cord into both the Master an the slave. What do I need to do to get axcess to

I plan to upgrade RAM memory to 512MB. Current memory - DIMM DDR 333 (2.5)
184-pin. 2 memory slots. I want add 256MB to second slot.
Is there any advantages to search memory from the same manufacturer I have

Just wanted to see if someone had already tried this...I have 2 laptops with
exactly the same specs and the unit that is most important appears to have a
hardware issue I am wondering if I just switch the HD on the laptops will XP
Pro be able to tell or will it boot normally???
