i am doing a dual boot of 98se and xp. i reimaged my evo laptop. i started
the install of 98. for some reason the installation has froze at preparing
to install 98. its at 100% of that part but it is not moving on to
collecting user info. what should i do?

I am adding a second SATA drive to my system. Both are Maxtors connected to
the motherboard.
I have reinstalled XP and replaced the HDD's cable, it is recognised as
Drive D, and formats from the XP safe Mode command line, windows and Paragond

Hi, purchased ram (corsair 512 3200c2), the systems already has 2/256 3200
400mhz with two extra slots for more memory, I install the memory as
directed, and when I start up windows, it would get to the welcome and then
it would just reboot. over and over again. I tried trouble ...

My web cam stopped working for some reason like it wouldn't work to take
pictures so I uninstalled it and now it wouldn't install it keeps saying
"Internal Error 2711. Copy WME". Can someone help?
Oh and the camera still works with messengers but it's uninstalled.

Having a problem with my keyboard on the other PC. The keyboard emits a
single, short beep when each key is pressed and no characters appear on the
screen in any program. Everything else works fine. It was all working fine
up until yesterday. Running XP home on a generic PC.

I have to dell pc's new one 5150 second one 4700.
What I would like to do is connect both together using one screen etc, but
would this mean I will have to have a dual boot system or if I just use a
crossover cable just to see files etc on second comp.

Just bought an external firewire hard drive.
I need to reformat and partition it properly and I have never done it

I'm kind of in a jam, stores are closed and i need to scan something.
I'm looking for someone who can print a 2 page document and scan it,
and email me the image. I need this as soon as possible. If you can
help me I will repay somehow.

After I use my drives once, they remain busy ane will not access another
disc. If I click on the drive via my Desktop shortcut or in Explorer, the
system basically locks up. If I insert a DVD and start WinDVD it freezes -
system locks. Open up WMP and select play and both drives ...

When I insert a CD or DVD in one of the drives I get to go to the BSOD. I
have checked drives out on another system - OK, replaced cables - OK,
installed new video drivers - OK. All other programs and functions seem to be
normal. Suggestion?

I am running an older micronpc - hooked up an external monitor to the
back.  The external monitor shows the same screen as the laptop.  I can
hotkey to turn off the monitor or have both the LCD and monitor work.
I would like to use the external monitor and the multiple monitor
