Is burning to DVD just like burning to CD?
So if I copy some docs and paste them into a DVD window, then click "write
these files to CD/DVD", should that work?
Or are the rules different for DVDs?

My PC is going hay wire.  Respectfully request some advisement on getting my
PC back online.  I'm in the military stationed overseas trying to fix it

I just picked up a 250 GB hard drive that is to go into a used computer
(about 3 years old I think). I have not opened it yet. I recall from when I
dealt with pc hardware some years ago that there were limits as to how large
of a hard drive your hardware and operating system ...

I have a Desktop case which the Power ON LED cable has connections for 3
pins, with this configuration XOX (X=pin O=empty), but i need XXO for my
motherboard, i tried to pull 1 pin out and put it in another (the empty
space) , but seems too firm, i'm afraid i could damage it, ...

I want to add additional memory to my desktop.  I have some older computers
sitting around the house that we don't use.  If they have the same type of
memory as my current computer, can I remove the memory and install it in my
computer.

Sometimes when I start my system it shutsdown immediately then restarts
automatically, sometimes it does this 2 - 3 times? I have already changed
the PSU because at one stage the system would not boot and the monitor light
would stay on orange and not go green as it normally ...

The printer mode of the OfficeJet works well but when I try to scan  the
computer error states the scanner is not connected.   The scanner mode works
well with my XP laptop so the probem is not the HP.   The laptop is not
connected to a printer.   Previous to adding a 2nd printer ...

after about 5 minutes of running some kind of computer game such as WoW my PC
starts to make a sound like a wailing siren and doesnt stop until i quit the

all motherboard drivers.   How can I avoid Windows to reinstall them before
I shutdown?
