When I put a memory stick in my USB port, windows recognizes it, but no drive
letter will be given to it. So I cant acces my memory cards anymore.
I heard this was a problem with assigning a drive letter to a USB memory
stick, but I dont know where I should do it.

I've been using  a Western Digital Hard Drive with  firewire connection for
several months now.  Just recently, my PC fails to recognize the drive. Any
help is much  appreciated.

Ok, so I have a custom built computer that has always worked great
until today. Problem description is below. Here are the specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
Asus A8N-SLI

I am currently attempting to install a HP Deskjet F380 and managed to
install the printer device but continue to get a problem when
installing the driver for the scanner.
The error I get is when I attempt to install the device through device

My computer is very unstable : it frequently (2 or 3 times a day)
automatically reboot or simply shuts down.
In "System information' I can read that the system indicates 512 Mo whereas
the real value is 256 Mo.

Is it possible to divide existing disk (not partitioned) into two
partitions?
May I install second system on second hard drive?
The goal is to install Vista CR1 saving existing XP.

Could this be a hardware problem ?
