When I put a memory stick in my USB port, windows recognizes it, but no drive letter will be given to it. So I cant acces my memory cards anymore. I heard this was a problem with assigning a drive letter to a USB memory stick, but I dont know where I should do it.

My computer is very unstable : it frequently (2 or 3 times a day) automatically reboot or simply shuts down. In "System information' I can read that the system indicates 512 Mo whereas the real value is 256 Mo.
