Can the DVD_R be used for Multi-Session of incremental writing? What about
DVD+R? Which one is better?

Xp can't seem to fix the disc errors it finds.
I've run the Recovery Console (chkdsk /r) several times and each time took
about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. It gave me no indication that the errors
weren't fixed. Ran chkdsk /p and it found no errors.

On my neighbor's computer the hard disk has two partitions. (C and D)
As usual, the operating system is on C, and the computer starts fine
However, D is not mounted. That means, that we don't see it i

Whenever I insert a disk into my CD Drive (Drive C) it doesn't do anything.
When I go to my computer, it tells me that there is no CD in the drive. This
is happening with both music CDs and CD-roms, even those I've used before.
