Hi  I am trying to upgrade to 2gb of ram.  I now have 3 sticks of 512 and
everything is fine.  When I put in the 2 1gb sticks the bios shows 2gb, but
windows is only showing 256mb???   My rig is this:  Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro
Nforce3 150 chipset, Athlon 64 3400+, 3 sticks OCZ ...

Windows Explorer will no longer show all of the songs from my MP3
player and also will not show all of the directories/pictures on my SD
camera card. The SD card shows everything if I put it in a card
reader, but not from the camera. The reader will show up as a USB icon

I have just purchased two new external USB drives (Coolermaster XCraft SATA
model and Western Digital 320Gb drives).
I plugged the first one in and went into disk management where the
initialise wizard came up so I initialised the drive and started formatting.

My USB ports suddenly stopped working.  When I went to device manager, NONE
of my hardware devices showed up in the list.  I've tried everything to get
this list to come up, changing views etc.  Only HELP appears when I click
ACTION.  All my other devices work fine.  Ran virus ...

It seems like every new  CD-RW or DVD-RW I buy can read the media extremely
