removed *and* uninstalled MS keyboard device.

every prompt furnished. It's still there.

1. Connect an empty hard drive to a pc
2. Start the PC.
3. No operating system so it just gets to the black page with status of

Laptop Ethernet Port06 Nov 2006 03:21 GMT6
I have a friend who has a Toshiba laptop and no longer can connect to internet. What is the best way to check it out to see if it's the hardware port itself vs software? They have tried numerous software fixes and now think it's the port itself.
Thanks
