Here is what I am running
2 Computers, XPpro/sp2 , NEC lcd, ATI 9600xt and KVM switch. I updated
my monitor to a Viewsonic VX2035wm 20" lcd. No problems with the NEC.
My second machine is not connected to the monitor when it boots, so

Got an odd USB problem here. Running an intel i965 based system with a
relatively new install of XP.
Today, 'some' of the USB ports fail to recognise my USB hub and the
peripherals plugged into it (phone adaptor, keyboard, mouse...) and other

A friend says her computer shuts down frequently, including every night, and
sometimes in the middle of using it, without warning, and the monitor shows
a message to do with auto save or something.  I didn't observe it shutting

I'd very much like to upgrade my PC audio solution.  Currently I'm
running the integrated sound card on an Intel motherboard to a set of
semi-decent stereo speakers that came with a Dell computer I bought 7

Can anyone tell me where I can locate and download the USB 2.0 drivers
for the above chipset?  I had Windows XP Home and when I connected USB
devices such as USB Stick it asked for drivers.  This happened with
Keyboard and Mouse as well.

I think it is a compatibility issue, but if so, I don't know why or how
to prevent the same problem.
Here is what happened. My computer has two slots, and I currently have

Have Windows XP, Service Pack 2.  Reader did work several times since receipt
of computer.  Inserted card from camera and got error message, did not catch
in time.  Checked My Computer, drives associated with reader no longer

Ok, when my computer crashed, I had to buy a new hard drive.  No problems
yet.  It has 250GB memory space, which made me estatic because my old hard
drive had 30GB (I know, old and useless, maybe thats why it crashed in the
first place).

Before the Login screen appears, on my screen a no video input message
is given and after a few seconds my PC restarts.

You know MP3 player can be used as flash disk. and the U3 flash drive has

I have a laptop Dell L400 and the old drive died.  I also had a bad
partition sector.  I just bought a 60 GB HD (Seagate) and put it into

All the articles I read so far discuss the "Core Duo" as CPU for notebooks.
Aren't there any mainboards for Core Duo for desktop computers ?
Can someone give me a recommendation for such a desktop Core Duo mainboard ?
