i have a hitach  hard drive with 160 gb capacity, i don't know how, but
reports to my system only 82 gb, i want to get the full capacity, it is
completely blank, so i can try anything to fix it, thanks

I get a power surge message on hub port with nothing attached.  The port
works fine, however, the only way to get rid of the message is to disable the

my bios is telling me my smart status is bad and to replace hard drive. My
question is that the specifications call my hard drive a ultra dma. Is that
equivilant to or comprable to a sata drive?

I recently attempted to install Norton System Works on my Windows 2000

uses a floppy key to install.  Works fine in my desktop using its floppy.
If I buy an external USB-driven floppy, will it show up as "Floppy (A:)" in

We have a Dell D420 notebook which have bad blocks shown in the event
viewer, sometimes the machine crash as well. We have now replaced the
HD in that notebook.
My question when I format the HD with bad blocks, do they get mark and

I bought a Western Digital external hard drive.  My first computer
found it fine.  My second computer doesn't find it.  How do I make my

About a year ago I thought I would update the drivers of my radeon 9600
card. I uninstalled the previous drivers and everything ATI on my PC,

Winxp system with 2 SATA HDD, one is OS the other is DATA.  I have a
removable HDD attached via one of my IDE channels which I turn on and off
