I am using Dell Inspiron 6000, win XP.
Recently I have installed some codecs.
-1st problem the Microphone couldnt be used; the voice couldnt be
recorded.

I don't want to go into the details of the problem, but I need a way to
change a drive letter from "D" to "E" OUTSIDE the windows environment.  The
incorrect drive letter "D" is making windows UNBOOTABLE.
Is there a utility, or a windows console command or ANYTHING that will allow ...

Sometimes on reboot I get the 'found new hardware' message & my PC tries to
install a 'Microsoft serial mouse' that I do not have, it sometimes crashes
my PC, any ideas?,

Hello. I noticed the similar question here but too many answers and not enuff
answers... My windows explorer does not show my E or F drives.  (E is the cd

After I replace my motherboard ASUS a8LE to Asus A8NV-CSM, everytime when I'm
shutting down windows,the system is not shutting down  the motherboard, but
the display is off....I still have power inside the case, and the only way to
stop it, is to unplugg and plugg the power cord ...

When I install a Pod XT Live onto my laptop I get a "USB bandwidth exceeded".
I can get it to install by removing another USB device.
Would I need to upgrade to a more powerful computer to overcome the problem.

I have a " Maxtor 3200 USB Device " that I plug into my computer via a
USB Port.  Once I plug it into my computer, the computer used to
recognize it automatically and assign it a drive letter (ie:  E: or F:
