Under settings "Screen Saver" in Display Properties,
I've set it to turn off monitor in 3 mins of idle and turn
off hard drives off in 5 mins.
These settings work fine for my use and have noticed

When I reboot my printer,external hard drive ,scanner, will not work,if
I unplug each one then plug them back in they are all recognised and
work perfectly, any ideas ?.

Just swapped CDRW drives and now new one will play music but won't write
files to the CD.  Windows xp service pack 2.  Old CDRW was slower but worked

I have a Lacie 600 Gb hard drive that will not load on any Windows XP PC.
I've tried 5 different PC and even tried a PC with Windows 2000.
