I have had 2 GB of memory up to now now (4 sticks of 512MB installed in
slots 1,4 and 2,5 respectively). I just bought two more 512 sticks from Geil
and installed them in the remaining slots 3 and 6. My system can't see this

I recently tried to boot from a linux cd only to find that my computer does
not boot from cd any more. I tried my genuine XP cd which should work but the
result was the same: my pc boots into windows, obviously from the hard disk,
no matter which device I set first to boot from in ...

When I try to restart or shut down my computer it stalls and I end up
shutting off the computer manually.

I use WinXP Pro SP2, with all updates installed, on a P4 2.0Ghz.
About once or twice a week I have a DVD-RW drive change drive letters

I use a maxtor 300gb HDD, recently a utilities program I use reports HDD

I have a Tablet PC, a desktop PC, and the Planktonic Voyager 510
headset. I selected this headset to avoid using a corded mic with the
speech recognition software.  Has anyone made something like this
work? If so,  please tell me how to do the same.

I can't get my CD-ROM drive to work. I put in the disc and the little disc
icon pops up as if it is going to read the disc and then it tells me to
insert disc. I open it and close it again, hoping it will do something, but
it does not. Can someone help me with this?
