I have a Toshiba Sattelite P20 laptop with integrated stereo speakers.  
Recently one of my 2 speakers stopped putting out sound...  I think I checked
all speaker settings and am now wondering whether it is hardware related.  
Any advice?

I recently installed a My Book Essential external hard drive on my Dell 4300
It came up as Drive F and allowed me to transfer files
Now when I start up my computer it shows it as drive G and thinks it is a
floppy drive. Any suggestions?

I installed a DVD player, and later attempted to use Word in Office
2002...and the product activation message comes up.
So, I inserted Office CD for product activation, but computer is
checking the "A" drive, not the "D" drive.

I recently upgraded to Windows XP Pro from ME and now the Disc drive doesn't
read any discs. The eject command works from My computer and the drive does

Hi, just recently every time I try to use my dvd-rom the screen cuts out
saying it has lost the signal??? Have checked external connections, but can
find nothing wrong. Have also updated drivers with no result. Please help.
