I created a slipstream xp home sp2 disk.  But when I booted from it, it
didn't give me any option but to only do a install of windows.  How do I get
it to do a repair.  I used nlite to make the iso and emc 9 to burn the image.

I have a asus a8n32-sli motherboard which i'm running an IDE Raid system
(2x80g western digital drives) plus one 250g sata 2 wd drive for backups.
My question is when my IDE drives pack it in and i need to replace them i
want to go to Sata 2 raid and my motherboard handles this but ...

I can't get my machine to boot into Windows XP with my CD burner attached as a
slave.
Here's the scenario:
 I replaced my Soyo P41S motherboard, which had 4 IDE channels, with an ASUS

My new Toshiba Satellite P105-9339 came with Vista installed. However my new
project requires Windows XP and DirectX 9. No problem, I figured I'd just set

I have USB 2.0 on my laptop.  The problem is that when I'm plugging my
USB 2.0 devices into the USB port, I get the  message window saying,
"This USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a HI-Speed
USB 2.0 port!"  What the heck is going on?  Aren't all of my ports

I just upgraded my gateway solo 1450 from 256 mb RAM to 1gb RAM. Which
is the Maximum allocation for my motherboard. However I am getting
various errors within xp. on boot I hit F2 to see if the RAM is
recognized and it is listed 512 mb in 2 slots. The Ram is the same

You guys are a smart bunch, I need to get a new desktop for my
father's budding business, and so far all the Big Shots sell their
boxes with Vista, which I do not want. Dell, HP, help me out here. Any
ideas?
