Can anyone tell me about some really good hardware testing software? I've been using Performance PC, but it's not absolutely reliable and I need to find some really serious testing hardware. Thansk a lot!!

I've got a Gateway machine just past its 90 day refurbished warranty and the mobo conks out..... I intend to replace it with an Asus mobo, so when I do, I will have to use the Gateway reinstall package.

I have just bought a new keyboard which is connected via USB. When I boot up the PC I get a message "Keyboard is Locked Out - Unlock the key". Everthing stps dead. To get to Windows I have to reboot and keep my finger on the F1 key. What does the message mean? What can I do??

Does anyone know how to free up space on my hard drive (C)? I have only 2% left on space on drive c. I have 82% space left on my D drive. I just wondered if i could move some of my programs to the D drive to make a lot more space?

I have a motherboard that supports SATA1 with an exchange rate of 150mb/s, can I fit a SATA11 drive, up to 300mb/s, onto this port, do they use the same connector? I need to know as I intend to change the motherboard in the near

I'm at my wits end! I've been trying for dyas now to get pictures from my digital camera onto my pc. Please bear with me on this as i'm not even going to pretend I know what i'm talking about... When I plug in my camera to the usb I get the following error message:

I have an INTERNAL dvd writer that is breaking, according to "experts" in this newsgroup---e.g., it is opening and closing sluggishly, if at all, and won't recognize blank dvds for burning purposes. I want to avoid the hassle of installing another internal.

I had to reload Windows XP and now I have no sound. I checked the Control Panel and it says that there is No Audio Device. As suggested in another question, I went to disable the hardware but there were no yellow exclamation marks to remove. What else should I try?
