Does monitor brightness have a correlation to long-term health of one's eyes
?   Is this on a person-by-person basis ?  Is it as simple as adjusting to
one's comfort ? Or is it better to try and get used to a brighter (dimmer)
monitor ?  Any objective way to measure brightness ?

i have a problem with my laptop. my keyboard and other hardware parts like
ports go un-detected for no reason. something is stopping me from installing
any software or reinstall my Operating System. i have windows XP installed in

I have a machine where USB sticks can be used they have a drive letter (E:)

Since about 4 days ago, my mouse's cursor just stops moving and the mouse is

I have an HP with DVD-RAM SONY AWG170A burner running under XP HOME sp2. the
DVD plays CDs and DVDs fine and burns CD with no problem but when I try to
create a data DVD, RecordNow gives me an error message and is unable to
