Got one for you that has me pulling my hair out. I removed my 2nd hard drive
(file storage only, no operating system), installed an SATA drive to format
it. Got it formatted, removed "C", loaded XP on the SATA, Re-attached

I strongly suspect that an Authorized Toshiba Repair center lied to
me, and replaced a nonfunctioning part in my laptop under warranty

Hello, I'm getting a new system with a 200gb sata drive, I still have 20 and
30 gb pata drives. Is it possible to still have uses for the pata drives as
storage meduims? Or is it a waste of time, and just stick with the 200gb sata.

I have a PC based on an old SV266A motherboard by Syntax running a
socket-A processor and WinXP.
